Questions
Is this peer reviewed?
No. Doctoral is a publication and hosting service, not a journal. We check that the file is complete and matches your details, and that is all. Your thesis has already been examined by your institution.
Does this replace my university’s repository or ProQuest?
No. Check your institution’s rules first; most require their own deposit, and many allow publishing elsewhere as well. This is an additional, public home for your work.
Will Google Scholar index it?
Each page carries the metadata Google Scholar’s inclusion guidelines ask for, so it can. Indexing is up to the search engines and we cannot promise it or its timing.
Can I remove my thesis later?
Yes. Write to us and we take the page and the PDF down. The fee is not refunded once a thesis has been published.
What if you decide not to publish my thesis?
You get a full refund of the fee.
How is marketing priced?
At cost, quoted to you in writing before any money is spent, and never without your written approval.
Is my card data safe?
Payment is taken by Stripe on its own page. We never see or store your card details.
